It is recommended not to delete the app until the medical staff has reviewed the data. After receiving guidance on the test results, you can then proceed to delete the app. 

After completing the test on online mode, the test data are automatically uploaded. If you ended the test before test reached its duration, please send the test data manually by clicking ‘Send Data’ button. 

After the test ends, the data is automatically encrypted and sent to the cloud server, then transmitted to the S-Patch Web platform with initial analysis by intelligent algorithms. Healthcare professionals can log in to the S-Patch Web with their assigned ID to review and edit the preanalyzed ECG data. 

S-Patch is a medical device prescribed by hospitals, and tests can be conducted only by receiving a prescription after consulting with the medical staff.

S-Patch continuously monitors and records every heartbeat and ECG. Recorded ECG is displayed through mobile application and web portal. S-Patch supports physicians’ diagnosis by detecting patients with cardiac symptoms including abnormal heart rhythm, heart palpitation, chest pain, dizziness, syncope, perspiration, fatigue, and anxiety. 

Wear the S-Patch according to your healthcare provider’s prescribed test duration. Please note that based on the test purpose and the prescription level, your wear time may vary.
S-Patch Ex can be used for up to 3~4 days per one session. It can be reused by replacing electrodes or batteries. 

Tests or treatments using radiation, such as ultrasonic waves, CTs, MRIs, and X-rays, can interfere the operation of the device or produce inaccurate results.
When having such tests or treatments, please take the S-Patch off. Before reapplying the S-Patch, you should replace your electrode pads with new ones. 

Electrodes are not reusable and are for one-time use only. S-Patch is compatible with most electrodes available in the market, so please replace the electrodes after detaching the device and then reattach.

The battery can provide up to 100 hours of usage (S-Patch Ex), but it’s recommended to replace it when starting a new test. 

S-Patch uses a replaceable 3V lithium coin battery (Ex - CR2032H, ExL - CR2450). 

During the test with the S-Patch Ex app, the ECG recorded by the patch is transmitted to the mobile device via Bluetooth. Therefore, Bluetooth must be turned on during the test period for smoother testing.  

When Bluetooth is disconnected, the built-in memory within the patch will continue recording data, allowing continuous monitoring of ECG without interruptions.
